Yes, I travel to the photo shoot location.

Not sure where to have your session? I'm happy to help with location recommendations and planning. Whether you're looking for a natural outdoor setting, an urban environment, a professional office space, or a location that reflects your brand and personality, I'll work with you to select a location that complements your vision and helps tell your story.
During the planning process, we'll discuss your goals and determine the best location—or combination of locations—to create images that align with your vision, personality, and brand.
-
While most of my sessions take place on location using natural light and natural settings, I also offer a small home studio for individuals and small groups. The studio is ideal for professional headshots, individual branding photos, small family portraits, simple product photography, and sessions that call for a clean, distraction-free setting.
For headshot and branding clients looking for a professional office setting, I also offer the option of using a local business location. This provides a polished, workplace-style backdrop for corporate headshots, personal branding, and business marketing images.

Life happens, and I understand that unexpected situations can arise. To accommodate schedule changes while respecting reserved session times, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply to sessions rescheduled within seven days of the scheduled date.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will result in the forfeiture of the full session fee. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
-
After we finalize the details of your session, you'll receive a booking email containing your contract and retainer invoice. Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, your session date will be officially reserved.
The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your session. This allows us to focus on creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience on the day of your session.

For family, senior, and headshot sessions, the number of final edited images included is determined by the package selected at the time of booking.
For branding, event, interior, and product photography sessions, all final edited images are included and delivered as part of your gallery.
Your proofing gallery will be delivered within three weeks of your session, when applicable. Once your image selections have been made and shared with me, I will complete the final editing process and deliver your finished gallery within three weeks. Branding, event, interior, and product photography galleries will be delivered according to the timeline discussed during the planning process.

Choosing the right clothing helps create timeless images that keep the focus on your family and your connections with one another. Rather than matching exactly, I recommend coordinating colors and styles that complement each other while allowing each family member's personality to shine through.
Clothing Recommendations for Family Sessions
Recommended Colors
Earth tones: olive, rust, mustard, cream, navy, and beige.
Soft neutrals: taupe, gray, soft blush, and dusty blue.
Coordinate rather than match. Choose complementary colors instead of identical outfits.
Mix textures and layers to add visual interest and dimension to your photos.
What to Avoid
Neon colors that can reflect onto skin and create unnatural color casts.
All-black outfits when possible, as details can be lost in shadows.
All-white outfits in bright outdoor settings, as details can be lost in the brightness and reflection of sunlight.
Busy patterns, tiny checks, houndstooth, or fine stripes that can distract from faces and may create an effect called moiré, where the camera records a swirling pattern that does not actually exist.
Large logos, graphics, or brand names that pull attention away from your family and can quickly date your images.
Clothing that matches the background too closely and causes you to blend into the scene.
Additional Tips
Start with one outfit you love and build the family's color palette around it.
Consider the session location when selecting colors and styles.
Choose clothing that is comfortable and allows you to move naturally.
Bring layers such as sweaters, jackets, scarves, or accessories to add variety and texture.
Most importantly, wear something that feels like you. The best family photos happen when everyone feels comfortable, confident, and free to connect with one another.
Clothing Recommendations for Branding Sessions
To create a variety of images for your marketing and branding needs, I recommend bringing at least 3 outfit options:
1. Professional Look
Choose an outfit that reflects how you would dress when meeting with clients or representing your business. This could be a blazer, suit, dress, professional blouse, button-down shirt, or polished business-casual attire. Select colors that complement your brand and make you feel confident.2. Everyday Business Look
Bring an outfit that represents your day-to-day work style. This is often a more relaxed version of your professional attire and helps create approachable, authentic images for social media, websites, and marketing materials.3. Lifestyle or Personality Look
Choose an outfit that showcases your personality and the human side of your brand. Depending on your business, this could be a casual outfit, creative attire, or clothing related to your profession. These images help potential clients connect with you on a more personal level.Additional Tips
Coordinate outfits with your brand colors when possible.
Avoid large logos, busy patterns, and distracting graphics unless they are part of your business branding.
Bring layers and accessories such as jackets, scarves, jewelry, hats, or branded items to create variety without requiring a full outfit change.
Consider bringing props that represent your business, such as a laptop, notebook, camera, tools of your trade, products, packaging, or branded materials.
Make sure all clothing is clean, wrinkle-free, and fits comfortably.
If you're unsure about outfit choices, we'll review them during the mood board and planning process before your session.
